TEASER TRAILER – THE GENTLEMEN SEASON 2

If Season 1 was a welcome to Guy Ritchie’s “gentleman’s universe” – where royal blood violently collides with the criminal world, then Season 2 is expected to delve deeper into the temptations, power plays, and unpredictable twists.

The first season laid the foundation for a not-so-glamorous underworld – where Eddie Horniman (played by Theo James) seemed to be just a gentleman inheriting his father’s estate, but gradually got caught up in a huge criminal network that his family knew nothing about.

Along with him are a memorable cast of characters: his incompetent brother Freddy, his aristocratic mother Lady Sabrina and his sister-in-law Tammy – all of whom reluctantly fall into the vortex of dangerous games with gangs from Liverpool, Albania and the British “nomad” underground.

Variety once described the series as “a brilliant symphony about legacy, family and the pleasures of self-discovery”. And yes – for eight episodes, viewers are plunged into a maze of intrigue, deception, and situations that are both tense and bizarre. The on-screen text keeps viewers abreast of the countless backroom deals, tangled names, and overlapping plots – making the experience more entertaining than ever.

Netflix calls it a “2024 smash hit”, and no one is surprised: gun-toting chickens, pot-selling aristocrats, Guy Ritchie, and a darkly witty style – it’s an undeniable formula.

And now, Season 2 is back.

Eddie is no longer an outsider. He’s had a taste of power, of money – and most importantly – of controlling everything from behind the scenes. The question is: when old money collides with drug money once again – who will survive, who will rule?
